Research question : What are the effectsof food insecurity, food safety and eating pattern on health?
Aim: The main aim of the study is toassess food related needs of the UK population.
Objectives:
1.To determine the relationship betweenfood insecurity, food safety, eatingpattern, healthy eatingandhealth.
2.To accessthe effectsof socio-demographic parameters on food safety knowledge.
3.To access the levelof food insecurity among different income groups.
4.To explore public attitudes to food production and the food system.
Proposed methodology :The study uses the secondary data analysis from the UK Food Standards Agency, Food and You Survey, 2018.
Study design This study is an a cross-sectional study which is a type of observational study that analyzes data from a population, or a representative subset, at a specific point in timethat is, cross-sectional data.
