As the human capital manager, answer the following:
What laws may have been violated here?
What are your next steps after you receive service on a lawsuit initiated by the EEOC? Remembering that the burden of proof shifts to the employer after an employee makes a prima facie case, what do you think your defense to the suit would be? Can you defend it?
What types of changes would you make within your organization because of this lawsuit? Use what you have learned and cite the laws, practices of the EEOC, your text, notes, LinkedIn Learning, or other class materials in your response
Taken straight from the news releases of the EEOC. This one might make you reconsider our discussion of “litigious employees” or “bad employers.”
