Practices Aiding Positive Start to School
Children adapting to school life is very significant to their life stages. Typically, the earliest year of school is a crucial turning point in a young child’s life. Ideally, action research will help educators develop a practical solution that will help them address children’s issues with starting school. The purpose of this research is to ensure that teachers can express their willingness to participate and display how there could be encouraged to undertake research work in the future.
Conversely, the research will help address the recognized knowledge gap regarding the transition’s attributes to programs associated with a positive start to school (Shaz, 2018). The research will help improve the performance of identified transformation strategies and plans. Lastly, the study will help inform directive resources for early childhood and outside school hour’s operation. In this regard, the proposed research aims to bridge this gap by identifying the discrepancies and, consequently, leveraging them to identify various ways in transition practices to school becomes easy for every child.
Problem Statement
Young students who have not yet adopted a positive start to school need to get help from the teachers so that they can be comfortable enough to overcome the numerous academic barriers. Students who have already transitioned to school life should also help settle those who have not yet. Technically, school organizations should help educators, counselors, and community service providers with the necessary training to help young children adapt to school life.
Research conducted on parents’ visitation for educators has enabled schools to establish better transitional policies and programs. A practice that helps students adapt to the school plays a significant part in influencing the scholars’ grade. Thus, students who get a warm welcome to school have a positive attitude towards learning. In this regard, this action research aims to help educators, teachers, and community service providers prepare a healthy school start for young students.
