1. Conduct a systematic search of the evidence published in the last 5-8 years and write up your search process. Document the process of that search including: key words used; databases searched; number of articles initially retrieved; and modifiers used to delete or retain the article (years of publication, language, age or gender of participants, etc.). Add this and the sections below to your introduction, using revisions provided by faculty.
2. Critically appraise and synthesize the evidence and write up a review of the evidence using a minimum of three research articles, one must be quaLitative and one must be quanTitative. Complete the Johns Hopkins Evidence Based Practice Form and include in the appendix.
3. Create an evidence table using the template below and include each of the articles, both research and informational, that are used in the manuscript. Describe the findings that are relevant to your paper, include the research methods for quaLitative and quaNtitative research, include the statistical tools used in quanTitative research (chi square, student t test , etc). Include the evidence table as an appendix.
