Students will create a portfolio that reflects on the image reporting processes in their Trust. You may consider the reporting environment, report structure, viewing and reporting equipment around the hospital and the radiology workflow. You will demonstrate an understanding of the impact these processes and equipment may have on the patient pathway, using human factors theory to give examples of the implications.
To assist in this exercise, you will begin by making 5 independent image reports. You will then compare with the definitive report. When undertaking this exercise, you will pay attention to the considerations outlined above.
