Using the character of the FRIAR from Chaucer’s General Prologue to the Canterbury Tales, do a three part discussion:
An examination of the character who narrates the tale, based largely on the information given in the General Prologue.
A short summary of the tale which he tells.
An interpretation of the tale, with possibly a few sentences on the appropriateness of the tale to its narrator
