This assignment needs detailed research to how businesses have adapted their workplace to ensure business continuity in the current Covid-19 pandemic climate. How and what methods have businesses used to analyse the risk to their employees and create a safeguard for them. How have businesses remained operational and what business continuity measures have they implemented to support this?
With employees working from home, how have businesses provided support to ensure that their employees were able to comfortably work from home. What IT support have companies used to support employees working from home and what safety considerations have companies had to take into account for those employees. What mental health support have businesses implemented to support the welfare for their employees?
Examples of how other manufacturing businesses have handled the pandemic must be included in the research. This research must make reference to Covid-19 or other pandemics / epidemics that businesses have had to react to. The research also needs to cover how some business have failed to implement a strategy/ business continuity plan to remain operational and how that has caused those businesses to fail during the pandemic.
