You are the senior night duty detective when you are informed by the control room of a suspected robbery that has occurred an hour ago at the Petworth Service Station, which is 25 miles away. Witnesses’ state that the suspect left on foot and believed to have made his way to a waiting car that was parked nearby.
The car was driven off by a suspected accomplice towards the direction of Chichester. The service station is now closed as a result of the incident. Uniformed police officers are currently on scene and have secured the premises. CCTV of the incident has been obtained, which is available to view.
