Assignment Goal:
As an emerging educational technology leader, you are expected to articulate the relationship between technology and the factors that influence student learning.
In order to influence a positive technology culture, you may need to lead policy development. Toward that end, your assignment is to create a policy brief.
Requirements
Write a simple policy brief related to a policy issue of your choosing. You could pick a policy you learned about in Module 6 or any policies that you are passionate about.
The National Education Policy Center publishes Policy Briefs ( that are great examples, but much more thorough than expected of you in this assignment. What you are completing would be the initial thoughts of a policy brief of that level.

Your policy brief should include these 6 sections*:
1. Title – descriptive and relevant
2. Executive Summary – overview and proposed policy action
3. Context or Scope of Problem – importance and necessity of policy action
4. Policy Alternatives/Critique of Policy Option(s) – current approach and proposed actions
5. Policy Recommendations – detailed explanation and specific steps to be taken
6. Consulted or Recommended Sources – sources used or recommended readings
