Overview:
Does it have conflict (you are telling us a story, true or not, and what stood in the way of your main goal or point)?
Does it have a good ending/conclusion? Is there a lesson/point that you are trying to say? If so, what is it? Think about that before you write- and bring that lesson/point up throughout the story.
Prompt: Choose from one these two items to write about this week:
Choice #1: Write a fictional short story about anything you like. Here are a couple of ideas for you, or you may use your own:
Idea A: You bump into an ex-girlfriend/ex-boyfriend on Spring Break—the one whom you often call.
Idea B: Write your story about anything you like, but the first sentence must be the main character saying
Idea C: You are leaving class one day, happy that the weekend has arrived, and your best friend runs over to you.
Idea D: Write your story about anything you like, but the last sentence must be the main character saying.
Idea E: Write about anything else.
