Description
The Dispossessed depicts a society in which there is virtually no private ownership of any kind. To what extent is the elimination of private ownership a realistic possibility, in your view? To what extent would this be desirable, in light of the value(s) that are advanced, or frustrated, by private ownership?
In your answer, you should:
(i) engage with relevant aspects of at least one other text from the property law section of the module reading list (i.e., the material assigned for weeks 8-10); and
(ii) (ii) compare and contrast either the law of tort or the law of contract (your choice), in light of the value(s) that are advanced, or frustrated, by that area of law.
