Description
There are three components to the paper (grading % indicated for each question).
The first question is about your knowledge of IT Strategy, the second question is about what you learned in the course, and the third question is about the group project experience.
The book for the course is IT Strategy: Issues and practices (3rd edition) by James D. McKeen
For the two reflections, be sure to cite references in academic format including your class text and other supplemental material that was impactful in your learning journey (posted videos, guest speakers, other).
Focus on critical thinking and quality writing and get to the core of what is most important to the IT career you wish to have and how it will be impacted by the IT Strategy of the your employer.
1) Write a cover letter to a prospective employer explaining why your knowledge of IT Strategy qualifies you for a position in the company. (1 page) – 20%
2) Write a reflection on your most important learnings from this class, how this will influence the kind of organization you would like to work for and why (3 pages) – 50%
3) Write a reflection on the group projects (2 pages) .- 30%
– What was the most important lesson you learned from working in your team?
– What 3 IT insights did you learn from other team presentations?
– Identify 3 strategic choices you agreed or disagreed with and explain why.
