– Assume that you are the HR Manager of your organisation. Your Chief Executive Officer has asked you to write a report explaining the important role of human resource management (HRM) in executing your organisation’s business strategy. In your report, you will explain how HR managers can apply Strategic human resource planning to enhance organisational performance. Also provide a recommendation on how to improve and/or address any issue you may have identified with the selected HRM practices.

– Overview of the Organisation :
Home Care Aged care is an organisation which operates 10 Aged Care facilities in Victoria .Home Care prides itself in being the Premium Aged care provider in Victoria and aims to provide a home like environment for the residents . The organisation employs around 10,000 staff members across the 10 sites and also the head office and support roles. HR team including the HR manager is based in the head office and not on site of the 10 sites so the site managers have to do all the ground work before involving the HR manager which is usually in the later stages of serious disciplinary performance management.

– Undertake a literature review for Strategic human resource planning to establish the characteristics of professional HRM practice. Identify and support your findings by referencing academic literature strictly using quality text books (including the course textbook) AND journal articles of relevance. By using recent peer reviewed academic journal articles published between 2011 and 2021 (minimum of eight {8}) (note: Wikipedia is not an academic reference).

– Conduct a “critical analysis”, which means you should not only understand some basic concepts involved in the case organisation, but also critically evaluate relevant information to support your arguments.
