• Random number sheet 0-33
• Worksheet below
Procedure:
1. There are 100 algae in the pond, each circle below represents one phytoplankton. Mark the amount of toxin each phytoplankton by adding a random number from 0-3 and placing it onto the phytoplankton (circle). Repeat this for all 100 algae. The random numbers selected represents the amount of DDT (in ppm) the algae absorbed from pesticide runoff from a nearby agricultural area.
