Description:Determinism
Determinism is the philosophical perspective that all events and actions are determined by preexisting causes. You may disagree with this perspective, but in Assignment 2 I would like you to take the deterministic perspective that all events and actions (including your behavior) are determined.
How would this change your perspective about the world? What would this mean about all the actions people do to help and hurt others? How do we hold people accountable in a deterministic world?
What does this say about your accomplishments and setbacks? How could the deterministic perspective be used to make the world a better place?
To earn full points on this assignment please read chapter 1 and 2 then write one page (double-spaced) on the topic of determinism.
