Airports form an important national air terminal that is vital for the efficient movement of people and commodities from place to place on a regional, national or international scale. Their convenience in transport makes them particularly important to countries besides boosting international trade as well as promoting international relations. Of importance is that the kinds of goods ferried by use of planes and the people moving from place to the other may, or otherwise, be of a sensitive nature.

By sensitive, it implies that the information pertaining to their transportation may require confidentiality and more so information pertaining to their movement ought to be safeguarded from third parties and this is where the challenge comes in.
