Matrix Table Literature Review:

Physiological and psychological impact of mid/night shift healthcare workers

The articles chosen must be within the last 5 years and when documenting in the chart should be in APA format. Please follow the grading rubric and use the tools I have provided for guidance. Also:

1. Describe the systematic process of your literature search including databases, key words, and inclusion/exclusion criteria. Identify how many articles met the final conditions of your search (0.5 page)

2. Critically review the literature. Write an integrated summary (synthesis) of what is currently known about your topic using appropriate categories/ headings. Clearly identify gaps in current knowledge. Conclude your review with a summary paragraph persuading the reader of the need for your proposed research (1 page)

3. Present your literature findings in a summary table using the template provided, and include this within your paper, or as an appendix. As discussed in class, you should be aiming to source 15-20 articles for review. If this is not possible for your chosen topic, explain why. Essentially you will find 15-20 articles that relate to the above topic and analyze them according to the grading rubric and the additional materials I have provided as tools to complete the Table.

Each student will submit a complete and correct APA formatted Matrix Table of a minimum of 15 scholarly journal articles. The articles must be written within the past 5 years demonstrating multidisciplinary evidence-based support for the importance and purpose of the approved topic. Each article summation should be placed in the Martix Table Template provided in the additional materials. Additionally, I also attached the grading rubric to follow & use as a guidance tool. I have also attached an article on the purpose of the matrix tool (it does not need to be documented it is just a tool to use) & I have also attached an example of a matrix literature table for reference.
