Strategic Innovation
Description
The primary deliverable for this course is to propose a formal operational strategy that balances the ambidexterity paradox within the context of your organization (FBC Bank Zimbabwe). Before a formal strategy can be developed, one must first evaluate the existing SI (strategic innovation) state. Such an evaluation will be completed in later with the ambidexterity audit assignment. This week serves as a precursor to the audit by formally reviewing the firm’s corporate governance structure.
Evaluate FBC Bank’s corporate governance structure within the context of the stewardship and agency theories. Assess whether the governance structure for the organization is conducive to pursuing a balanced strategic innovation orientation (ambidexterity).
