Assignment

Now that you are at the end of the simulation, it is time to look back from Quarter 1 and Quarter 9 in order to assess your executive management and how your strategic and tactical decisions contributed to the success of the business (or not).

This assignment is a presentation to new equity investors in the form of power point slide deck. Investors will require assessment of business performance, management expertise, comparison to competitors, and plans for the future.

The slide deck is a mix of data analysis and textual information related to the data analysis. The presentation must be efficient and professional (see grading rubric below).

Here are the topics for this assignment, covering Q1 – Q9:

Analyze the financial statements for clues that point to business successes, constraints and decision mistakes.

Inquiry into, marketing, sales, production and finance to determine the path and state of the business
Compare financial ratios against competition

Outline the presentation; Must author the slides.

The assignment heavily leans towards data analysis. Use Excel consolidate data for tables and charts, as needed. You can copy the table and the chart into PowerPoint.

Use APA format for references.
Points will be added for professional, clear and well thought out presentations.
Points will be deducted for poor presentation, formatting errors, lack of appropriate citations.
