Memory and Time
Description
Write an essay of 4000 words on the questions below. You should discuss at least two texts from the course in depth.
Take the opportunity afforded by the questions to explore your own interests, and read around your subject accordingly. Your essay should be critically and historically informed, and demonstrate the confident articulation of your own ideas. Find the appropriate balance between your own critical voice and the opinions of other critics/historians/theorists. We expect you to write well-structured, sharply argued essays in polished prose.
