Task
With the rapid growth of globalisation and the record amount of imports the UK industry receives it is important to look at the role and contribution supply chain management makes to a business. You are therefore required to write a report that examines and provides a critical analysis and evaluation of the logistics and supply chain management, in a business context.
Your report should:
a) Explore key supply chain concepts, principles, and processes in an organisational context and consider good practice and failures (L01)
b) Critically analyse how logistics and supply chain strategy can contribute to the competitiveness of an organisation following the growth in globalisation. (L02)
0 Critically evaluate the issues associated with the development of a supply chain strategy, identifying solutions based on good practice models (L03)
d) Evaluate the interrelationships between supply chain and other areas of an organisation considering their importance to the success of a business (L04)
