Assignment Topic
This dashboard must include:
At least 3-4 different types of plots and graphs along with 1-2 sections with numerical or textual data.
Within these plots/graphs, there must be at least one trend graph and one distribution or histogram.
At least one drill down functionality (where users can click on a plot and it will show detailed information).
At least one filter (where users can filter attributes based on the value).
Along with the dashboard, you will need to provide the following submissions:
An executive summary (500 words) about the dashboard. The summary must include:
Context: what specific area/domain the dashboard is for? Provide some background information about the domain.
Benefit/Impact: where and how this dashboard will benefit the users.
Future: the vision for this dashboard.
A report (1,000 words) describing your design principles. This may include:
The overall structure of the dashboard.
Details of the choices made (like why you chose certain graphs over another, choice of filter attribute etc.)
A manual (500 words) for the dashboard describing how to use the different functionalities of the dashboard.
For example, if you have a filter function, provide a screenshot of the filter button/dropdown and explain how to use it, with examples and associated screenshots.
