Book Review Overview
For this course, you will be reading two books. The first is Bottle of Lies: The Inside Story of the Generic Drug Boom by Katherine Eban, and the second is Blue Dreams: The Science and the Story of the Drugs That Changed Our Minds by Lauren Slater. Although each book tells quite a different story, they do have some things in common.
Both books are very nice pieces of investigative journalism relating to the history, science, ethics, and morality of drugs that society uses daily.
While Bottle of Lies focuses on generic drugs, Blue Dreams focuses on drugs specific to neuropsychology.
Each book review should have several sections as outlined below. In each section consider the following questions while you are reading the book.
