You can start by using to help you browse recent news articles, or browse (or TEDx) videos directly from their website. The source you choose must have been published within the last 3 months.
The overarching goal of this assignment is:
Find a recent current event (news article, journal article, or TEDTalk) that relates to a topic from one of the six Learning Outcomes in this course, and discuss it with your classmates.
The relationship between the current event and course content does not have to be perfect.
You will summarize the article or video, discuss how it relates to one of our six Learning Outcomes, and pose two questions to your classmates to encourage them to apply their knowledge.
This assignment should take approximately four (4) hours to complete.
Submission
You will complete at least three forum postings as part of this assignment:
Your first post will include a summary of your article/video, a description of its relationship to course content, and two questions for your classmates. Be sure to post your article/video in proper APA citation format.
Answer at least one of the questions that was posed by one of your classmates by replying to their original post.
Engage in thoughtful discussions within your own thread (your original post) or other threads.
