Task 1: Individual Presentation LO1
Students will prepare an individual poster presentation on the effects of health disorder on an individual or group. Produce an A3 poster using IT resources and to verbally present the concepts and principles for 7 mins during an in-class assessment. This will be followed by 5mins for question and answer with the assessor.
In your presentation, you must:
Appraise the factors that determine the “health needs” of a specific group and individuals in relation to their wider determinants of health and individual circumstances.
Examine how these factors contribute to their levels of dependence/independence or diminished capacity.
Identify specific assets within the community that might be available to support this group or individual
Review the impact that ill health has on the life chances of vulnerable members/groups.
