Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is for students to reflect on assessment evaluations so they can utilize various assessment strategies to identify a learner’s skill level.

Observation

Observe a learning environment where learners are being assessed (around 20 – 30 minutes). Pay particular attention to the types of assessments used and if all learners are receiving the same assessments.

While you are observing, you need to take notes on how learners are being assessed.

Note: Learners are assessed all the time and not necessarily in a ‘traditional’ educational setting.

Reflect on what you have observed and critically analyze it.
