Propose  to New York City decision makers to adopt The Good Food Purchasing Program.

The program will provide a metric-based, flexible framework that prioritizes five core values:

local economies, environmental sustainability, valued workforce, animal welfare, and nutrition.

Policy paper:Complete a 5-page policy analysis paper.

This assignment is modelled on the framework and discussion proposed in Chapter 14 of the text (“The Art of Structuring & Writing a Health Policy Analysis”) and require 5 clear sections:

(1) problem identification,

(2) background,

(3) landscape,

(4) options, and

(5) recommendations.

Topics must be preapproved midway through the semester, and the paper will be graded on analysis, clarity of writing, research, and overall quality.
