Title: Ecomissiology and the Environmental Plight of the Philippines’ ‘Last Frontier of Ecology’: Mission Towards Palawan as the ‘First Frontier of Ecological Civilization’
Problem: Palawan, also known as the ‘Last Frontier of Philippine Ecology’ is threatened by environmental crisis caused by climate change. This research envisions Palawan as the ‘First Frontier of Ecological Civilization’ in the Philippines as response to environmental crisis.
Theory: Ecological Civilization a society’s ultimate objective in terms of social and environmental rectification as response to climate crisis refers to a world in which human societies are structured to enhance the general well-being of people and the environment.
Methodology: An approach to mission that understands the mission of God in terms of reconciliation at all levels in a world marked by interaction and interdependence known as ecomissiology.
