Intro. to Infant Development
I/T Quality Environment & Curriculum Analysis
Purpose:
Create an illustration of a quality I/T learning environment and a list of caregiving materials and developmentally appropriate curriculum materials that support the individual physical, emotional and cultural needs of children and families.
Guidelines:
⦁ Use the text, ITERS, and resources provided in class.
⦁ Create a quality infant/toddler learning environment (must include inside but outside environment is optional).
⦁ Environment must be a minimum of 8 ½ x 11 inches.
⦁ Environment may be 3 dimensional.
⦁ Develop a list of caregiving and curriculum materials you would include in the environment.
⦁ Analyze your environment, including a justification, along with a justification for the choice of materials.
⦁ Analysis and justification must be a minimum of 1 pg. typed.
