Watch the two videos and write a paper
Prepare a paper on sustainable practices/environmental initiatives and how this relates to evolving blockchain solutions and networks. As discussed in class, mining for blockchains consume a high level of energy and processors/computers are faced with a very short lifecycle because of the need for high processing power and the associated attrition rate of the equipment.
So, there is a recurring need for energy and for investment in the equipment. This results in company strategies to address the blockchain issue for companies planning to use the technology. Associated with this is the recent move by China to clamp down on mining and the subsequent rapid transition of the mining power to the U.S.

What, do you think, would be appropriate strategies for companies to follow?
We have used several business cases across multiple industries and have discussed various issues related to blockchains. You can use some of these materials/discussions as part of the paper.
In addition, you must conduct some additional research on the topic and create a 3-4 page paper (you can go more if you want, but quality matters more than quantity).
Pages must be single spaced and you must include the bibliography for the sources you have used.
