Select a topic that you feel passionately about so that you can sustain the argument. Think of a problem you can help solve. Try to make it something that you can reasonably handle in 5 pages and something that has not been done 100,000 times before now.
Start by reading Chapter 17 to gather “how to” get this essay going.
This assignment has 3 parts that are individually graded but share the same topic-
The Proposal- an explanation about your topic, its relevance, and what you plan or hope to discover. (See Proposal folder on B-Board and Chapter 17)
The Descriptive Annotated Bibliography- a collection of the sources you may use for the essay. (See Annotated Bibliography folder on B-Board and Chapter 24 ).
The Final Draft- the final product, the essay as a whole.
Put in the legwork. Incorporate research into this essay. Use the library database to find three (5) sources that will help you in your claim about this pattern/trend you observed.
Complete the checklist attached to the paper topic on the discussion board to be sure you have fulfilled the assignment.
