Ethics in Marketing
Description
Working in your teams you will act as if you have been hired as consultants to help the UoPeople Human Resources department by creating a Code of Conduct to include in their employee ethics training and in the Employee Handbook. Familiarize yourself with all parts and types of Codes of Conduct, and reflect on what makes the most sense to include in a Code of Conduct for the University of the People faculty and staff.
Include all three:
1. Faculty Rights
a. The right to have a safe working environment
b. Fairness, Freedom of expression, continued education opportunities, diversity
c. Grievance procedures
2. Faculty Responsibilities
a. Responsibility to all/your students
b. Responsibility to colleagues
c. Responsibility to the University of the People
d. Responsibility to your profession
3. Ethical Decision-making Framework
a. Questions to ask yourself
b. Examples of ethical behaviour
