Excursion at the Melbourne Museum

We were required to find an excursion venue to pretend we are going to take primary students to there as an excursion.

The powerpoint presentation that we presented is for your reference on what we did, and could you have a look at the Melbourne Museum website and mention the resources online and at the venue. The three programs we chose in the powerpoint are linked to the Victorian Curriculum and the first two is linked to the History part as our focus was the history part.

Students need to be engaged in a learning experience prior to visiting an excursion venue that will support their learning. Include a learning intention, focus questions and appropriate activities that would make meaningful links for the students between the Humanities curriculum and the excursion venue prior to the students going on the excursion. The learning experience can be continued on-site at the excursion venue. The lesson plan template may be used to complete this section.
