The mayor of your town was seen in your emergency department and subsequently ‘fled with injuries that included an orbital floor blow-out fracture and multiple bruises until arge on the 26th.
Past rumors have hinted that the mayor is in an abusive relationship and “‘peculation is rampant that these injuries are a result of abuse. Since the incident, local newspa-pers have printed health information that should not be available to them. To address a potential pivacy breach, the IT department ran an audit trail to see who had accessed the patient’s records. Fie employees in the HIM department accessed the record, and you are tasked with determining if any of them violated the privacy policy.
