Prepare a mini-research proposal examining a topic of interest in human sexuality.
Assume you have been given an opportunity to apply for a grant to pursue research in an area of human sexuality of interest to you.
To receive this grant, you will need to prepare a brief research proposal in which you present the following:
Title:How does spirituality/religion or energy impact sexuality?
The title should be brief, but descriptive, clearly indicating the subject of the investigation.
Abstract
One-page summary highlighting the key features of the paper
Background of the issue
Define the issue and include information such as prevalence, population description and important historical events (if applicable)
Review of literature
Organize synthesis of previous research into relevant subsections
Each paragraph should include information from multiple sources. Avoid describing one study per paragraph.
Try to include information from articles that represent a diversity of findings and perspectives on the topic.
Summarize literature that supports why your suggested research may be merited
Method and design
Justify the use of qualitative or quantitative method
For a quantitative study, identify your independent and dependent variables.
Describe your target sample and recruitment
Explain how you would carry out your study
Briefly explain how you would analyze your data and what the results would reveal (what research questions would the findings answer?)
Highlight any issues related to culture or diversity that you will need to attend to in your study
Identify possible ethical concerns related to conducting the study

Length: 10-12 pages, not including title and reference
References: Include a minimum of 10 scholarly resources.
Your research proposal should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
