Research-Informed Rationale
Description
You are asked to produce a contribution to the School of Psychology Graduates of 2022 Yearbook.
In order to provide a lasting and meaningful document, that can also be used to showcase the psychological knowledge and professional skills gained throughout your degree, you are requested to provide a ‘communication piece’ conveying the interests and values of your cohort and provide a professional rationale for your process in creating the piece. Ideally, this will be a representation of a fellow student (please see below). The Yearbook may be exhibited at an end of year celebration and outreach events to inspire others.
There are two parts to this portfolio:
Communication piece -there is no specific requirement on form, however, this must be submitted in digital format through Turnitin
Research informed rationale (RIR) -this must be written in academic style and fully referenced
The example industry briefs and advice on filling them during the lectures will guide how to complete this assessment in a professional manner
In a research informed rationale describe your application of your knowledge of psychological theories and techniques, as well as transferable skills gained from the degree in creating their communication piece.
The RIR must be written in academic style, fully referenced in APA format, with word count of 1,500 words (+/- 10%)
