Introduction of child abuse and neglect ( 800 words)
Introduce the focus and define key terms, explain the context, explain the extent of the problem within the country choose
Briefly summarise the state of the literature and any relevant policy developments/critiques, then set out a clear project aim/question that you are going to address, explaining how you will address this.

Reflect on the limitations of the literature (e.g. gaps in knowledge, topics that are under-explored, or perhaps not explored at all, methodological limitations of available data, etc)
Reflect on any implications for research, policy, and practice ( focus on the country, the implications should be specific to that context (then you need to think a bit about whether the implications might vary by the 2 countries ( Nigeria, and Kenya)
