⦁ Mention the principles of lean management: value, value stream, flow, pull and perfection. All relating to the information given in the case.
⦁ Identify areas in the case where the business may already be operating lean.
⦁ Do an analysis to identify 7 different Muda waste within the case and a few others on Muri and Mura and state what effect they have on the business.
⦁ Discuss how overstock and obsolete items can have negative impacts on the business also not having enough of the right stock can impact.
Once those aspects of waste are identified use a fishbone diagram to identify possible causes for 4 out of the 7 muda wastes identified.
Create a value stream map of the case study to identify where value is being used from start to finish of the order process.Apply some lean management theories to reduce or remove different types of wastes in the case study considering how you can add value to the order process.
