The readings discusses issues pertaining to psychiatric disabilities, hidden physical disabilities, and autism.
They explore issues of discrimination and exclusion that are specific to these populations but are also relevant to disability issues at large.
Of particular interest is the role those labeled have in research, theory, and practice related to disability. While reading, consider how the knowledge and information presented by the authors help inform your understanding of neurodiversity and the type of service provider you would like to become.
