Initial Literature Overview
Based on the articles that have been found, strategic decision-making is one of the top strategies used for companies and organizations to decide on how to figure out what is best for the company. Companies also incorporate a management system to help keep organize and balance out the decisions needed to be made. Strategic decision-making helps the company elevate in numerous ways.
Employees start by making decisions based on the company’s goals, shared values, or mission statement. In current research on decision-making, it is crucial to understand ethical decision making in teams because organizations increasingly rely on teams to make consequential decisions (insert dm6).
Additionally, research has identified how other people feel about our decisions can spell the difference between decision success and failure (insert dm2). Therefore, the current research will focus on how often strategic decision-making effects the team/organization from an employee and a manager level.

What was the research question(s) and/or hypothesis(es)?
“Why” did they conduct their research? That is, what was the “gap” and purpose for conducting their research?
Give a brief overview of the subjects/participants in their study to include general demographics and sampling procedures. Include their sample size and any rationale for this. (You should not include excessive or irrelevant details here).
Give a general overview of their methodology. This should include their measures and instruments used, and any helpful details you might need to understand their research. (Give sufficient details but do not repeat the entire methods section.)
Give a brief summary of results from the article. (What statistical results were found? How did this affect the interpretation of their hypothesis, etc.?)
Give a summary of the discussion/conclusion/implications (What did the research indicate? What do the results tell us? What are the implications and applications?)
How might you use this article in your background and the development of your proposal? How does the research related to what you are planning in your project?
Write any other comments or notes you might find helpful later (optional – for your benefit).
