Discuss the similarities and differences in how the works interact with the social norms or cultural values of the time in which they were created.

Choose one of the poets we have read for this class and find 2-3 scholarly articles discussing the author or work you chose. Consider the assertions or claims of each of the scholarly articles, and then try to identify areas in which the scholars agree and disagree with one another. Finally, pick a side and then write a paper discussing the poet/poem, the scholarly articles, and your position.
