Article review on 15 dollar minimum wage
Description
An article review paper is different from a research paper. A research paper focuses on a topic (for example, Employee Compensation), the student proposes a theory or stance on the topic or sub-topic within the topic (for example, Effectiveness of Compensating Executives with Stock Options), and then the student uses several different outside research sources (such as journal articles, professional articles, textbooks, etc.) to support the theory or stance. An article review paper, on the other hand, focuses on your evaluation of a professional or journal article writer’s stance or opinion on the topic they wrote on (see the article review paper format and order below, along with the sample article review paper).
Follow the directions and review the sample paper carefully. The paper must be at least 1 full page in length (not counting the title page and the reference page) and no more than 3 pages (again not counting the title and reference pages). Ensure you follow APA formatting for the paper, to include the title page, the in-text citations, and the reference page. The paper should demonstrate an understanding of the topic and critical thinking skills.
The article review should be in the following format and order:
> APA-styled Title Page
> Introduction/Framework (Provide a general overview/summary of article)
> Analysis (What’s the significance of the article to the topic itself & HR field as a whole)
> Conclusions/Opinion (What is your conclusion/evaluation of the article)
> Reference Page (includes APA reference list that should include, at-a-minimum, the article itself and any other sources cited in your review paper of the article)
