To what extent does the empowerment of women impact the standard of living of the society in Rwanda, and is there a difference between Kigali and Nyarugenge?
In order to analyse empowerment of women in Kigali city compared to Nyarugenge in the past eighteen years is necessary to identify some indices or criteria and then unify them in an aggregated index. These indicators should focus on the differences of the geographical areas, since Kigali city does not have the same conditions as Nyarugenge as a whole. It will be necessary to identify all those criteria, which make women’s empowerment an essential mean for the development of the country.
