The purpose of this assignment is to compile your semester-long research into a cohesive final essay. You will be relying on the following assignments:

SWA 2 – Literature Review
SWA 3 – Data Collection

When planning your SWA 4 assignment, you will need to think about how the various components of your research relate to each other. You should NOT simply copy and paste your past assignments into one document. A successful final essay entails not only including information from all three assignments, but also structuring it in a way that demonstrates a clear understanding of your topic.

Content Requirements:

A 1-2 paragraph introduction stating what your topic is, why it is important or relevant to Latin America, and the  ARGUMENT you will be addressing throughout the paper.
A review of three academic sources. Explain what you learned from them and WHY the literature is relevant to your argument.
A presentation of your data report. Explain what you learned from it and why it is relevant to your topic.
A 1-2 paragraph conclusion restating your thesis and findings, along with a clear explanation of how your research contributes to your understanding of Latin America.
