Both of the resources posted this week relate to communication as a tool or measurement in understanding collaboration. The text book, Collaborative Leadership, by authors Archer & Cameron, also highlights typical survey questions to use to measure collaboration. All these forms of communication and measurements of communication highlight the importance of communication in collaboration.
1. How does measuring internal communication measure your collaboration? (Discusses in HBR article posted in the learning unit)
2. How can you use conversational coherence as a measurement tool? (in the video posted in the learning unit Can you use that in other ways as a leader/manager?
3. How do these measurement tools fit in the 8 points of the Measurement Compass? or do they? (page 68 of text book – also included in the PowerPoint file posted in the learning unit.
Be sure to respond to at least two of your classmates.
