In a 3-4 page paper, create and explain a policy to improve your organization.  Expand on how this policy will improve your organizational effectiveness.  Develop a policy implementation plan and tools for effective employee feedback to insure continuous quality improvement.

This policy may cover something you are already doing at work or for a fictional organization. Organize your paper by Part number in sequence as shown below. This assignment follows a rubric. APA format is recommended.

Part 1: Introduction.  Provide a rationale for establishing your policy.

  Address all of the following questions:

What is the organizational problem/concern/issue you are trying to improve?
Why does it need to be improved?
How do you know it needs to be improved?
What are the benefits to the employees and the organization for making this policy change?

Part 2: The Policy Document.  This is the document establishing your policy that will be provided to your employees.

The Policy. This must be clearly stated and well defined for execution by the employees.

The Timeline for Implementation. Provide a projected timeline and include whether or not your policy is replacing an existing policy
Elements of Expectation. Clearly define what “not meeting,” “meeting,” or “exceeding” expectations are for every part of the policy. This requires multiple assessments.

Assessment Plan. Address in what manner/method as well as how often the effectiveness of the policy implementation will be assessed with the employees.

Measurement. State how the effectiveness of the policy will be measured and feedback loop created for continuous quality improvement driven by employees.

Part 3: Anticipated Challenges.  

Address the following questions: 

What problems do you anticipate during implementation and how do you plan on addressing them with employees?
