This original post has two parts.
Check that writing is clear, concise, and grammatically correct.
Part 1: SMART Learning Objectives: (5 points)
By now you have hopefully decided on a skill to train and have thought of possible sub-skills.
Now it is time to create your SMART learning objectives for your training plan. Keep in mind that these learning objectives state what learners will know and/or be able to do by the end of your training session. The objectives should be specific to the skill/sub-skills you plan to train. These learning objectives need to meet the SMART criteria. Review material about SMART learning objectives located in Module 3.
Provide three (3) to seven (7) SMART learning objectives for the training plan you are working on for your organization.
Example 1:
“By the end of the training session, learners will be able explain what two important aspects of active listening.
Example 2:
“By the end of the training session, learners will be able to state two ways to control their emotions while managing a conflict.”
Example 3:
“By the end of the training session, learners will be able to name and demonstrate three techniques for managing a conflict.”
Part 2: Training Methods (i.e. Techniques) (5 points)
Provide a minimum of two (2) techniques you think will be beneficial to implement into your training plan. Refer to Chapter 8 for technique options (i.e. storytelling, buzz group, game show adaption, etc.). Explain why each is a “good” choice. Be specific. Consider what each technique does.
