PART 1
According to Marx (following Rousseau?) our human potential is most fully realized through our interaction with nature–through the creative, thoughtful transformation of raw materials into a useful, finished product. We can have an intimate identification and relationship with such products. Think “the fruits of your labor” or a person who manufactures a small amount of fine “craft” products, or the popularity of Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects people undertake–not simply to save money, but for the satisfaction that comes from saying it is truly “yours”.
This basic relationship between our labor and what we produce is broken through the capitalist relations of production (commodification of everything), producing a sense of alienation and systematic exploitation.

PART 2
After reading all of PART 1, share your opinion about a specific part/ make a comment about a part that interest you; whether it was one of the videos or one of the reading. 5-7 SENTENCES IS PERFECT.
EXAMPLE
Marx opened up they eyes of how people are really being exploited in these factories by giving capitalists their labor. By coming up with the four concepts of alienation, he was able to shed light on how capitalists are taking advantage of people’s hard work and how workers are not showing what they are truly capable of by becoming machines working for someone else. Imagine if Marx or anyone else ever challenged this system. We would be basically born to work in factories for our entire life unless we work born into a family that owned a factory. Marx gave people that motivation to go out and do what they love. Share their talents with the world and make a profit by doing so. (SOMEONE’S WORK)….
Also I would like you to respond to this comment above. 1-3 sentences is perfect.
