The purpose of this assignment is to enable you to:
Develop a research project from a given topic area and highlight its significance, the research question, and conduct the initial literature search. Illustrate the proposed research methods in the form of a poster.
Explain the rationale of the selected research methodology, including data analysis and its relevance to the proposed research project.
This assignment supports unit learning outcomes 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Assignment details
There are two parts to this assignment: Part A: Poster and Part B: Rationale. To begin, choose a topic area from the given topics, then work your way through the following information to meet the requirements of this assignment.
Topic area
You have learned that wound assessment and care is an integral part of Nursing and Midwifery practice.
You are designing a research project that focuses on wound assessment or wound management.
Developing a research project

Part A: Poster
Develop a poster using the Assignment 2 Poster and rationale template (DOCX 160 KB) Download Assignment 2 Poster and rationale template (DOCX 160 KB)in response to your chosen topic area (500 words).
In your poster, include the following:
Title.
A brief background (significance of selected topic).
Research question (PICo/PICO).
Database search.
Methodology.
Research design.
Participants.
Sampling strategies.
Data collection method.
Data analysis method.

Part B: Rationale
