Assessment criteria for this assignment: – LITERATURE REVIEW
a. Introduction/background: describe your question/issue and establish significance and relevance. Include clear purpose statement of the literature review.
b. Methodology: describe in detail the methodology you employed to conduct the search of the literature, including the; search protocol, inclusion/exclusion criteria, article retrieval, article review/analysis.
c. Findings: what are the primary/secondary findings in the existing literature.
d. Limitations: what limitations or gaps are noted in the existing literature related to methods, questions, philosophical perspectives, etc.
e. Recommendations for future research
f. Conclusion Critical questions you should consider as you read prepare this assignment include:
✓ What theoretical perspectives/frameworks have been used related to this question?
Hint: These are not always explicit—you might have to read between the lines!
✓ What methodological approaches have been used in research inquiry related to this question? What assumptions come along with these methodologies?

GRADING:
I.Writing is clear, understandable and accurate; APA format (7 th ed.) is used, spelling and grammar are attended to, and the page limit is respected. Demonstrate understanding of and reflection upon course concepts, and effectively draws in scholarly literature as needed. (25%)
II. There is ample evidence of critical reflection of the components outlined above (a-f) and they have all been addressed, and the components link together logically.
It is evident that the search for relevant, current, high quality research evidence (a minimum of 15 current resources is expected) has been thorough and exhaustive.
Typically, “current” means within 5 years, unless the article is a seminal and foundational paper in the field. Grey literature can be incorporated appropriately. (25%)
III. There should be evidence of critical reflection on the existing theoretic and methodological perspectives taken, and a well-founded critical analysis of the evidence base (50%)
